British Columbia Performing Artist Art Kenyon Heads To Berklee Massachusetts Summer Program
VANCOUVER, CANADA (Top40 Charts/ WiFi PR Group) Hailing from Vancouver BC, young and talented performing artist Art Kenyon is packing his bags and heading to the Berkelee MA five-week summer performance program. The "Berklee Five-Week Summer Performance Program" is the premiere contemporary music summer program for young musicians.

Dateline: Los Angeles, California - Hailing from Vancouver BC, young and talented performing artist Art Kenyon heads to the Berkelee MA five-week summer performance. The "Berklee Five-Week Summer Performance Program" is the premiere contemporary music summer program for young musicians. Each summer, approximately 1,000 participants from across the U.S. and around the world (70 countries) share experiences and ideas while attending this unique summer musical exploration.

While Art Kenyon maybe young, he has been influenced by the great classic rockers of the current era and through-out modern music history: Beatles, Queen, Captain Beefheart, The Doors, The Pretenders, Beach Boys, Nirvana, Stevie Ray Vaughn and The Cure. Kenyon has already released a 6 song EP titled, "Cocoon", and is now working on his second. Kenyon said on Facebook, "My favorite bands have been "punk", even The Beatles. So, here's my "Art", rock, pop, statement; while I'll never be perfect, and my albums will never be perfect, and with that in mind I'd love to hear from those of you who find solace in my imperfection. I'll be finishing the new tracks in my own time over the coming year, because I love making music. I really hope my fans love my music as much as I do."

The reviews for his first album have been terrific, in particular James McQuiston, Editor, NeuFutur Magazine said, "The swirling rock music that issues forth from the beginning of Art Kenyon's Cocoon EP showcases his unique vocal styles. With an equally active instrumentation bolstering each line, what results in an introductory track like Cocoon is rock-radio gold.

Kenyon also won a song-writing award in the Rock/Alternative category for Cocoon via The Songwriters Association of Washington for The Mid-Atlantic Song-Writing Contest.

Art Kenyon has recently signed on with The WiFi PR Group based in Los Angeles California. He has contributed his song, " This Girl's Trouble" to their Indie Anthems Digital Sampler Series. The Compilation can be downloaded for free at: https://www.indieanthems.bandcamp.com

Music Releases: 6 song EP "Cocoon", "Telling Yourself Lies", "Hawaii", "Paradise or Paradigm".
