NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Amy Grant's Simple Things album (2003) was born from love, during a memorable week with family and friends, it was three full years in the making. It comes to burn the stages now now on wings of love, for the Christmas period!

Amy's "Greatest Hits 1986-2004" to hit stores October 12th from A&M. In addition to the Greatest Hits cd release, A&M/Word will also be releasing a Greatest Hits DVD video collection which will also include a few videos of some of the popular radio remixes.

Grant and Gill have each headlined their own holiday tours, as well as launching their very successful first joint Christmas tour in 2001. As solo artists, their Christmas albums have been bestsellers with a combined total of over 9 million records. Gill's include Let There Be Peace On Earth and Breath Of Heaven. Grant's top Christmas titles are Home For Christmas, A Christmas Album and A Christmas To Remember.
During his distinguished recording career, Gill has sold over 22 million records, won 16 Grammys and 18 Country Music Association awards, including Entertainer of the Year twice. Gill has had a busy year. In addition to his own tour dates, he has also been touring the country as part of the first Grand Ole Opry American Road Show, with fellow Opry members Patty Loveless and the Del McCoury Band.

Additionally, The Notorious Cherry Bombs, a Nashville super-group that includes Gill, Rodney Crowell and Tony Brown among others, has re-united. Although they first began working together in the late 1970s, the Notorious Cherry Bombs just released their first CD (self-titled), and it has met with rave reviews. The group has also released a single and a video and has made a few exclusive appearances.

With sales of over 22 million albums to her credit, Amy Grant is one of pop music's most prolific artists. Her seventeen albums to date have garnered numerous awards, including 5 Grammy Awards and 22 Dove Awards, plus additional nominations from the MTV Awards and the American Music Awards. Songs like "Baby, Baby," "Next Time I Fall" (with Peter Cetera) and "Takes A Little Time" have firmly established Grant as a pop powerhouse. These hits, as well as other songs from her rich catalog, will be compiled for an October 12 release, Greatest Hits, 1986-2000.
Grant has also begun work on a second Hymns project, again, to be co-produced by husband Gill.
