NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Alicia Keys's debut album, Songs In A Minor, has jumped from Number Four to the top of the current Billboard 200 album sales chart, selling more than 192,000 copies, according to sources. The surge comes on the heels of her nationally televised performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.

Following in the Number Two position is the strongest debut of the week, Toxicity, the second album from Los Angeles hard rockers System Of A Down. The self-titled effort of last week's top seller, Aaliyah, continues to perform well in light of her recent death, while the various-artists collection Now That's What I Call Music, Vol. 7 checks in at Number Four and Mary J. Blige's No More Drama claims the fifth position.

Rockers Staind and Linkin Park jump back into the top 10 with their albums Break The Cycle and Hybrid Theory, at Numbers Six and Seven, respectively. The groups also were the recipients of prime television airtime thanks to appearances at the video awards.

Rounding out the top 10 are Maxwell's Now; *NSYNC's Celebrity; and, making its debut in the top 10, Good Times, by Afroman.

Dropping from the top 10 are Slipknot's Iowa (down nine to 12), Brian McKnight's Superhero (down six to Number 13), Juvenile's Project English (down seven to Number 15), and Toby Keith's Pull My Chain (down 12 to Number 21).

Other albums of note: the soundtrack to Rock Star debuted at Number 180 while the various-artists collection Now That's What I Call Music, Vol. 5 and Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP both re-entered the chart at Numbers 189 and 195, respectively.
