Ben UFO needs little introduction. Over the past few years he's steadily built a reputation as one of the most exciting new DJs to emerge from London's famously diverse and forward thinking music scene.

As a co-founder of Hessle Audio he's been responsible, alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea, for some of the most groundbreaking releases of recent years and, as a DJ, for helping to break new producers such as Blawan and Joy Orbison, who are both now figureheads of the UK scene.

His bi-weekly radio show on Rinse, as well as his numerous podcasts and recent commercial mixes for both Rinse and fabric are renowned internationally for pushing the most exciting, innovative beats from the past 25 years of dance music history - regardless of scene, producer or genre. His deep and well-documented understanding of jungle, garage and dubstep - the bass-driven rhythms of UK sound system culture - and his pioneering approach to blending them with the now dominant sounds of classic deep house and techno means that Ben's sets are deeply unpredictable, intricately structured and genuinely unique.

Also guesting on this date will be one of the most uncompromising talents from Detroit, Marcellus Pittman. Marcellus or 'Malik' as he is also known is one of those very special artists alongside the likes of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite whose productions veer from techno to house to disco and always have that raw, dusty vibe. His solo productions are quite outstanding and you can hear the influence of jazz and funk as much as house and techn
