Fans can look forward to the group's first-ever solo concert DVD for the Kung Fu Records live DVD series "The Show Must Go Off." Filmed at a recent show outside Los Angeles, the DVD will be released later this year. A new limited-edition white vinyl 7" featuring "Safety Song" and "My Machete" from THE DEFINITIVE ACT are now available on the band's website, www.tsunamibomb.com. In his upcoming CD review for Alternative Press, writer Trevor Kelley praised the band's unique sonic range: "had Lagwagon tried to sound more like Blondie or had Discount stuck around long enough to dabble in metal-leaning hardcore. The expansive pop-punk on The Definitive Act delivers this and at least a dozen other stylistic turns." Equal parts introspective and propulsive, THE DEFINITIVE ACT is the band's most varied effort to date. The album's first single is the dynamic lead track "Dawn on A Funeral Day." For the new album, TSUNAMI BOMB - AGENT M. (lead vocals), MIKE GRIFFEN (guitars, backing vocals) MATT MCKENZIE (bass) and GABE LINDEMAN (drums) - enlisted former Hot Rod Circuit drummer Mike Poorman (Orange Island, Piebald) to produce. As a result, THE DEFINITIVE ACT - the group's second full-length offering on Kung Fu - is a diverse 12-song collection filled with their signature melodic and engaging punk rock anthems fused with razor sharp rhythms.
