NEW YORK (Sanctuary Records) - What do you get when you combine the hardest working, hardest rocking band in the world with the legendary annual biker rally in Sturgis, South Dakota? You get Jackyl's 'Live at the Full Throttle Saloon' scheduled for separate CD and DVD release on Sanctuary Records on September 28, 2004.

Vocalist Jesse James Dupree led his band of guitarist Jeff Worley, bass guitarist Roman Glick and drummer Chris Worley through a raucous set of no-holds-barred hits in front of 15,000 maniacal fans at the Full Throttle Saloon in summer 2003. The venue always hosts some of the most popular events in Sturgis.

The tracks on the CD and DVD vary slightly. The CD tracks are "The More You Hate It," "I Stand Alone," "Mr. Evil," "You Want It Heavy," "Push Comes To Shove," "Down This Road Before," "Down On Me," "Dirty Little Mind," "Redneck Punk" and "The Lumberjack." The DVD tracks are: "The More You Hate It," "Mental Masturbation," "I Stand Alone," "Mr. Evil," "You Want It Heavy," "Push Comes To Shove," "Secret Of The Bottle," "When Will It Rain," "Down On Me," "Dirty Little Mind," "Redneck Punk," "She Loves My Cock," "Billy Badass" and "The Lumberjack."

"We've been on tour constantly since the release of our first album in 1992, so it's only natural to put out a live record. We did release a limited-edition live album in Europe in 1995 since weren't going to be able to make it over there to tour - and there have been live B-sides, a CD5 recorded in Seattle at which the members of Nirvana were slam-dancing to "I Stand Alone," and a track on 'Woodstock '94' which we were proud to be a part of - but 'Live at the Full Throttle Saloon' is our first body of work to include songs from all of our albums," Dupree says.

"The real star of this live recording is the crowd. On most live recordings, you only hear the crowd between songs. But you cannot manufacture the likes of 15,000 people singing along with "Down On Me" or "Dirty Little Mind." We went balls out at this show. There was a lot of excitement and adrenaline," says Dupree. "That's what you get with a straight-up, greasy rock 'n' roll band.
As a unit we're a punch in the gut."

The chain-saw-wielding Dupree is proud of Jackyl's connection with working-class, "real" America - an ever-present force at biker rallies, NASCAR events and other locations where the name of the game is having fun and leaving inhibitions behind. Jackyl, which is based in Georgia, unleashed its mayhem-inducing blend of hard rock and Southern rock upon its 1991 formation and since then the band has done everything from setting two Guinness Book of World Records milestones (100 shows in 50 days and 21 shows in 24 hours) to writing songs with AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson.

Jackyl is playing some upcoming shows with Kid Rock, and songwriting is well under way for the next studio album. Dupree says several songs are already written, including one called "My Moonshine Kicks Your Cocaine's Ass."
