LOS ANGELES (www.godsmack.com) - Have you experienced Godsmack live? Coming Home Studios in association with SRS Labs and Zoe/Rounder is pleased to announce the release of the new long form live in concert DVD "Godsmack - Changes," which bowed at No 7 on Billboard's Top Music Video Chart. It's incendiary performance. It's stories behind the music.
Its up close and personal. It's one of today's top selling rock bands connected to its audience. Featuring enigmatic, powerful frontman Sully Erna, and bandmates guitarist Tony Rombola, bassist Robbie Merrill and drummer Shannon Larkin, "Changes" offers in-depth interviews with all four band members, behind-the-scenes material, and live concert footage shot with 14 cameras in High Definition, 16:9 formats.
The DVD was filmed by Coming Home Studio's Daniel E. Catullo III and Andrew MacNaughtan, the award-winning team behind "Rush In Rio," which among other CHS releases, won numerous awards, including the JUNO in 2004 for Music DVD of The Year and two Telly Awards.

Filmed throughout Godsmack's 2003-2004 Worldwide "Faceless" Tour, much of which included the coveted support slot for Metallica's "St Anger" tour in Europe and North America, "Changes" offers fans the opportunity to experience the band in several ways. First is concert mode, which consists of 58 minutes of live performance footage including the hit songs "Straight Out Of Line," "Voodoo," "Awake," "Moon Baby," "I Stand Alone," "Faceless," "Keep Away," "Bad Religion,""Whatever," "Re-Align," "Changes" and "Serenity." Of special interest is the explosive, nearly 8-minute segment of dueling drum solos between drummer Larkin and frontman Erna (orginally and obviously still a stickman).
A highlight of the band's set on the Metallica tour this year, the two battle off, sitting high on circling drum risers, driving the audience to frenzy. As a feature film (105 minutes running time) viewers experience the songs performed live directed by Catullo inter-cut with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage directed by MacNaughtan.
Additionally, the DVD features super deluxe, collector's quality packaging and a choice of 5.1, DTS, 5.1 Multi-Channel or PCM Stereo/SRS Circle Surround Sound for a superior audio experience. The stereo track on "Changes" is encoded in Circle Surround 5.1, allowing anyone with a surround sound system (not just a Dolby Digital A/V receiver), to enjoy the 5.1 mix that the band and audio engineer intended.

Godsmack released the crunch-laden FACELESS in early 2003, an album that debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart. It was the quartet's third straight platinum-plus-selling studio album, bringing their career total to more than seven million records sold in five years. The Boston-based group received their fourth Grammy nomination this year. In addition, on the heels of their certified gold acoustic album "The Other Side" (Universal/Republic Records), Godsmack, has just broken the record of 11 for most top 10 hits at active rock radio ever, a record they previously shared with Metallica. "The fans got us to where we are today," says Erna. "Its been a hard but exciting journey that we've taken together and we look at this DVD as a gift to our fans for being with us all the way." The band is currently still on tour with Metallica - see dates below.
