Heather's surprise guests often include members from her family. Her sister and New York cabaret superstar K.T. Sullivan has recorded Heather's uptempo and haunting song 'Breakfast in Dublin'. Sister in-law Robin Brooks Sullivan recently recorded Heather's popular song 'Water Meets The Sand' on her latest release, 'Turn It Around'. Robin's mother is Grammy Award winning country singer, Jody Miller.
Additional guests have included her mother Elizabeth Sullivan, whose skyrocketing career began at the tender age of 70. Her brothers Tim and Pat, the former a country singer/songwriter who wrote the Boston Red Sox song 'Cowboy Up', the latter a beautiful tenor balladeer when he's not a country doctor. Her sister, New York City Mac Award winner Stacy, recorded Heather's song 'Carpet Ride' on her first album, and one of Heather's favorite guests is the Sullivan family's 'adopted' son, Cabaret legend Mark Nadler.
A gifted piano player, lyricist and performer, Heather began playing piano at the age of 4. Her frequent and regular performances with her family singing gospel as a child prepared Heather for the life as a musician and influences her music to this day.
Heather's voice and original songs have been featured on HBO's Sopranos, CBS's That's Life and numerous national commercials. Her songs on films Include soundtracks for 'John John in the Sky' starring Randy Travis and 'Special Delivery' starring Penny Marshall. She also recently appeared, August 10th, on cable TV's SoapNet network on the SoapTalk show hosted by Ty Treadway and Lisa Rinna performing her highly acclaimed song 'love come down'.
Her songs continue to be among the favorites for fans of Daytime Television including General Hospital, Guiding Light and Passions. She can also be heard on the compilation soundtrack 'Totally Adult', alongside tracks by Linda Rondstadt and Shawn Mullins.
Heather has traveled all over the world with her music. In 2001 she performed in Cairo for the American Embassy. Heather has recently released her fourth album titled 'Butterfly', co-written by her longtime partner & friend, Emmy award-wining producer Ron Alan Cohen.
Heather's mother Elizabeth has performed numerous shows at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Wall Street Journal, May 14 2003, described one Carnegie Hall performance as "a case study in minor musical genius". Along with her 'musical offspring' Elizabeth will also be performing at Town Hall in New York on October 19th at 6pm for the National Cabaret Convention.
The Sullivans perform their popular annual Christmas concert at Catlett Hall (University of Oklahoma) on December 23rd To benefit of the Oklahome Women's Resource & Shelter.
