Hip Hop Hall Of Fame Awards TV Show 20th Anniversary 'Induction Ceremony & Concert' Set December 16th NYC
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Thompson International Professionals) The Official Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show returns to NYC on December 16, 2016 at the United Palace Theater. The legendary female hip hop artists Roxanne Shante returns as the show co-host that will be taped live for national television broadcast at a later date, and be available for early behind the scenes viewing via a live stream online partnership. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum will also debut its new proposed Manhattan Hip Hop Museum location, revamped logos, co-branded content, and website https://hiphophalloffame.org at the upcoming 'Inductee Press Conference' to be announced for later this month.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show is now poised to be the national historical hip hop event annually that will be a staple in New York City for decades to come as The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum & Entertainment Complex is in the latter planning stages of its State of the Art 'Green Tech Design' new building being developed on a site in Manhattan that will include The Hall, Museum, Retail Gift Store, Official Merchandise, Arcade, Sports Bar, Restaurant, TV Studios, Educational Classrooms, and Concert Lounge Producing 100 live events per year, serving an estimated 500,000 fans, visitors, tourist, and students annually with a $350M socio-economic impact in Tri-State area.

The 2016 Hip Hop Hall of Fame 'Institutional Inductees' will be led by Harry Belafonte's classic Hip Hop Film BeatStreet now celebrating 30+ years, Sal Abitello and his Disco Fever venue in the Bronx where many Hip Hop Stars and Legends were made, Sylvia Robinson and SugarHill Records, Bobby Robinson and Enjoy Records, and Harlem's Mike & Dave Records & Promotions who were all forces in the early stages and growth of hip hop music & culture around the world. There will be Life Time Achievement and Community Service Awardees who will be named at a later date.

National and International Press & Media, Dignitaries, and Artists are invited as the 2016 Hip Hop Hall of Fame Inductee Class of Artists, Groups, DJs, B-boys/Girls, and Graffiti Writers names will be unveiled to the world at the upcoming Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards 'Inductee Press Conference' and meet & greet in to be announced in late October at a NYC location. "We are very excited about this 2016 Inductee Class as it continues to fulfill our commitment to tell the whole story of Hip Hop Music & Culture from its inception, to its early stages, and transformation to Records, Radio, Fashion, Films, and Entrepreneurship that has become a Global business and socio-economic phenomenon," stated Chairman JT Thompson, the Creator-Producer of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Show that originally aired on BET Networks in the 1990s and in 2014, who also serves as Founder-Chairman of The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum Project.

The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Producers has started talks with Cable & TV Broadcasters and Streaming Networks for a multi-year Television deal, and is also seeking Official Sponsors, Product & Brand Advertisers, and Promotional & Content Partnerships to propel this flagship show and other future Hall of Fame Co-branded Program(s) and Live Music Events in development to the next level reaching tens of millions of viewers in America and around the World throughout the year annually as Classic Hip Hop Music & Culture History is in demand.

'This will be the 20th Anniversary of the first HHHOF Awards show that was broadcast in national syndication television and on the BET Cable Network in 1996. That show inducted the Legendary Run DMC & the late Jam Master Jay, DJ Red Alert, Grandmaster Flash, The Zulu Nation, Eazy E, as we watched history in the making when all of the Old School Pioneers together, Inducted Hip Hop Pillar DJ Kool Herc, stated Kenny 'DJ Lord Yoda X' Syder, a Co-Producer. Other past Inductees in later shows included The Sugar Hill Gang, The Sequence, The Mercedes Ladies, legendary photographer Ernie Pianicolli, Ralph McDaniel's Video Music Box, B-Boy pioneers The N.. Twins, DJ Hollywood, The Treacherous Three, MC Busy Bee, The Movie WildStyle, Graffiti Artists Stay High, and Cornbread to name a few.

A limited amount of VIP Tickets can be purchased for $150 which includes the pre-show VIP Reception for Inductees and Honorees taking place as Hip Hop illuminairies, Moguls, Artists, Stars, Celebrities, Sports Icons, and Industry Executives and affiliates make their way down the Red Carpet step and repeat for the national and international press and media covering the event.
