SANTA ROSA, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Wells Fargo Center for the Arts) - Fans of Latin music icon Marco Antonio Solis are in for a real treat as the legendary singer-songwriter brings his hit music to the 1600 seat theater at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, June 15 at 8pm. Solis is touring on the heels of his latest album, La historia continua parte III, which recently landed number one on sales charts in the U.S. The well-known singer and composer typically performs in arena-sized venues before crowds of 6,000 or more. The June 15th performance at the intimate Wells Fargo Center for the Arts promises to provide a personal and up-close experience with one of Latin music's hottest recording and performing stars today.

Hundreds of adoring women of all ages are expected to come and sing along as the handsome Mexican heartthrob takes the relatively small crowd through material from his more than 20 albums, which have sold millions around the world and hit the top of the Latin charts a dozen times. The legendary singer will be backed by a 12-piece string section and band that includes two synthesizers, four horns, and two dancer/singers.

One of the most influential singer-songwriters in the Latin music world, Solis has written hundreds of songs that have become standards, covered by scores of artists, shaping the development of Latin music. He is recognized for across the board success in sales, airplay, industry awards, and concert dates attesting to his enormous popularity and critical acclaim. His U.S. successes include over thirty entries on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart, including multiple number one hits. Solis won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Song of the Year in 2004. He also was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Billboard Music Awards.
