Marquee Las Vegas: Columbus Day Weekend Music Marathon 2011
LAS VEGAS, NV. (Top40 Charts/ Plexi PR) Marquee Las Vegas once again invites the biggest names in dance music to kick off the fall season for its Columbus Day Weekend Music Marathon. Armin van Buuren, Blake Jarrell, Dash Berlin, Dirty South, EC Twins, EDX, Erick Morillo, Hardwell, Jochen Miller and Redfoo of LMFAO, along with Americas Best DJ winner Kaskade to close out the last days of sun-drenched poolside fetes at the Dayclub and get the dancefloors shaking at the Nightclub from October 7-10, 2011.

Friday, October 7
EC TWINS @ Dayclub
EC Twins are as busy as ever, having recently recorded a new remix of Paul Oakenfolds Resurrection for Perfecto Records and Armada, and planning to release Discos Cure, a tribute to the late disco legend Nick Ashford. Among their newest projects is their hugely successful remix with Remy Le Duc of Someone Like Me, from songstress Adele, as well as a remix of Champagne Showers by fellow Marquee residents LMFAO, both of which can be listened to on Soundcloud. Their newest original tracks include I Wanted (Original Mix) and PACMAN, which they showcase regularly with their regular, high-energy shows at Marquee Las Vegas, this time spinning poolside, kicking off Columbus Day Weekend.

Friday, October 7
DASH BERLIN + HARDWELL + EDX + BLAKE JARRELL @ Nightclub
Hailing from the Hague, Netherlands, collaborative effort Dash Berlin, comprised of Eelke Kalberg, Seabstiaan Molijn and Jeffrey Sutorius, have had nothing but excited support and encouragement, from both fans and the likes of Armin van Buuren, since their beginnings in 2009 with critically acclaimed debut album, The New Daylight. Following with United Destination official mix albums on Armada in 2010 and 2011, Dash Berlin has also worked with ATB on track Apollo Road and remixed for Depeche Mode, First State featuring Sarah Howells and Morning Parade, as well as created their own experimental/progressive/trance label, Aropa. Nominated three times this past year for the International Dance Music Awards, its no surprise Dash Berlins newest single, Better Half Of Me (Club Mix) featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn is blowing up the charts and was recently dubbed Future Favorite by Armin van Buuren on his A State of Trance radio show. Check out the video here.

Leading the newest generation of DJs at just 23 years old, Hardwell has remixed Fedde Le Grand, Tisto, Gareth Emery, Dada Life and DJ Fresh ft. Sian Evans, to name a few. He recently followed up his highly successful Eclectic Beatz mix albums with the compilation series Revealed, and released original tracks like The World, while continuing his impressive live performances in London, Miami, Las Vegas, and everywhere in between.

While audiences anxiously await the release of this Swiss-based Italian DJs debut album slated for the end of 2011, EDX keeps club- and festival-goers around the world on their feet with his huge remixes of everyone from Deadmau5 and Armin van Buuren to Laidback Luke and Funkagenda, as well as his newly launched radio show, No Xcuses, through SiriusXM. No stranger to the top of the Beatport charts, this Mixmag-named genius wraps his summer residency in Ibiza and returns to Marquee Las Vegas to play poolside at night with Blake Jarrell.

Seemingly always on the go, jetsetting around the globe between Ibiza, Dubai, Singapore and Los Angeles, Armadas Blake Jarrell returns with fresh tunes to excite audiences. He continues to host his monthly Concentrate Podcast, featuring signature mix sets and the hottest special international guests. Blake also recently released an original track called Maldives, a huge summer anthem currently climbing the Beatport Top 10 Trance Chart with support from Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond and more, as well as a remix by Genix.

ARMIN VAN BUUREN + JOCHEN MILLER @ Dayclub
Set to be released September 30th, Universal Religion Part 5 is the newest installment of Armin van Buurens hugely popular summer series, this time recorded live during his new Be At Space residency at Ibizas Space and featuring cover art created by Dutch artist Joseph Kilbansky and featured in his New Urban Wonderland exhibition. With unreleased tracks and remixes from BT, Paul Oakenfold and Andy Moor, a new Gaia production, two new original remixes and Ferry Corsten collaboration Brute, one can only imagine what Armins performance at Marquee will entail. Preview a sample clip on YouTube. With a recent acclaimed headlining performance at Electric Zoo Festival and over 15 years of experience as both DJ and producer, and holding the title of DJ Mags Top 100 polls number one spot four years in a row, its no wonder his award-winning A State of Trance radio show, which boasts over 15 million listeners per week, has just celebrated its 10 year anniversary and 500th episode, while his Armada music label is among the most respected in electronic music.

High Contrast Records Trance DJ Jochen Miller combines progressive, electro and trance on the decks, whether performing live or during his monthly radio show, Stay Connected, started in 2010 and available through his official Facebook page. In the midst of a number of extensive tours throughout Europe, North and South America and Australia, Miller treats audiences with innovative mixes, most recently working with Markus Schulz on Rotunda and his own releases, Troucid and U And Eye. His upcoming release, "Flashback," is out this month -- it's a style-blending big room banger and can be previewed on YouTube.

Saturday, October 8
ERICK MORILLO @ Nightclub
One look at his thrilling tour diary and theres no doubt Subliminal Records DJ and producer Erick Morillos Subliminal Sessions residency at Marquee will be the place to be Columbus Day Weekend. Playing one packed festival and club after another this past summer, Morillo is following his Subliminal Invasion Mixed by Erick Morillo compilation, including 27 tracks and 5 exclusives featuring Green Velvet, Armand Pena and hit track Stronger with Eddie Thoneick and Shawnee Taylor, with a collaboration with Harry Choo Choo Romero, titled Pa Ra Ra, and remixing, Fly Away by In The Screen and Lasers by Lights Out, with Romero as well as Jose Nunez.

Sunday, October 9th
DIRTY SOUTH @ Dayclub
Most known for his breakaway hit and 2010 Grammy nominated co-remix (with Axwell) of The Temper Traps Sweet Disposition, Australian electro-house DJ Dirty South has continued through 2011 to impress with tracks like Alive (feat. Kate Elsworth) with Thomas Gold, the Deluxe DJ Edition of Strictly Dirty South with Mark Knight, Steve Angello, Alesso and more, and contributions to Avicii Presents: Strictly Miami. He has most recently lent his remixing skills to Jeremy landers Airsteala and Skylar Greys Invisible, and his massive new single, Walking Alone, is due out this month. Dirty South returns to Marquee for his packed Starphazing residency where he continues to showcase his signature dark house sound among stunning visuals and costumed dancers see it for yourself in Dirty South at Marquee Las Vegas on YouTube.

Kaskade will be presented with his trophy--a special Gold-Plated Pioneer mixer-- at the ABDJ Closing party, then take to the decks for the wildest Sunday night party in Vegas.
