NEW YORK (Lava Records/ www.lavarecords.com) - Five piece punk superstars Simple Plan are celebrating the holidays with two RIAA certifications. The band's brand new album, "Still Not Getting Any..." which was released six weeks ago on October 26th, is officially Gold, signifying sales of 500,000 units or more. In addition, Simple Plan's debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls" was also certified double platinum, marking sales of over 2 million.

In conjunction with the incredible sales picture, Simple Plan's current single "Welcome To My Life," featured on "Still Not Getting Any..." has catapulted to the top of the charts. The track, showing no signs of slowing down, is currently Top-10 at CHR/Pop Radio. The song marks the band's fourth Top-10 single to date. Their previous Top-10 hits include up-tempo tracks "Addicted," "I'd Do Anything" and the mega-ballad "Perfect."

"Still Not Getting Any..." released on DualDisc, entered the Billboard Top 200 at No 3. The album, currently at No 26, joins "U2" and "Green Day" as the only existing rock bands within the chart's Top 30 albums.

Simple Plan's success can be attributed to the band's songwriting savvy-ness, dedication to their fans and overwhelming work ethic. Simple Plan has literally toured nonstop since 2002, taking time out this summer only to record their sophomore album with legendary producer Bob Rock.
Simple Plan are once again on the road doing a series of headlining gigs and radio shows across the U.S. In addition, Simple Plan will ring in 2005 with a special performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.
Last but not least, punk godfathers Green Day have tapped Simple Plan to join them on tour in Australia and South East Asia in the early part of 2005. For more information, visit www.simpleplan.com.
