New York, NY (American Laundromat Records) - American Laundromat Records (ALR) and Face Down Records (FDR) are proud to announce the official release of their much anticipated 20 song compilation CD HIGH SCHOOL REUNION' a tribute to those great 80s films!

High School Reunion features prominent indie-rockers such as Frank Black, Matthew Sweet, Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses), John P. Strohm (Blake Babies, Lemonheads), The Caulfield Sisters, The Dresden Dolls, and many more covering songs from some of the 80s most popular teen films including; Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Repo Man, Pump Up The Volume, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Say Anything, Valley Girl, and more.

Additionally, the CD features a forward written by Chris Gore, founder & editor of Filmthreat.com, and host of the Independent Film Channels popular game show Ultimate Film Fanatic. Gore is also a writer and frequent contributor to the E! Network, MSNBC, VH1, and CNN.
