Originally released in 1992, 'Reach For Me' quickly became one of house music's most sought after tracks and vital to jumpstarting the American scene. Now, over ten years later, the track is being reintroduced for a new generation. In addition to the original version, the 12' will also feature reworks by internationally renowned talent Steve Lawler and rising talents Peter Bailey and Richie Santana. "Lawler's mix of "Reach For Me" has been a staple in my sets and has been tearing up dance floors worldwide. It is a great reintroduction to a track that is over 10 years old. Richie and Peter's mix is big room nastiness that I've been playing at Space for months,' says Oscar G. Lawler's remix of 'Reach For Me' is already making major noise with tastemakers and Pete Tong has made the track an integral part of his recent Essential Selection radio shows.
Murk Classics is a vehicle for both established and up-and-coming talent to remix classic tracks from Oscar G. and Ralph Falcon's back catalogue. Future releases will feature remixes from internationally acclaimed talent. Sister label Murk Records is the new home for original productions by Ralph Falcon and Oscar G. A brand new Murk 12' production is currently in the works! "We are excited about the re-launch of the Murk label because it will give us full control over our music and allow us to be more experimental again. We came up with the idea of Murk classics because of the interest we have received in our catalog. It is great to see that today's hot DJ / producers are aware of the history and interested in updating the older stuff," says Oscar G. Oscar G. & Ralph Falcon (AKA Murk) are one of the most successful DJ and production teams in the world. Recording as Murk, and under other aliases including Funky Green Dogs, Liberty City and Coral Way Chiefs, the duo is responsible for some of the most influential and commercially successful dance tracks of all time. In fact, their 2003 self-titled artist album set a new record with five No 1 singles on the Billboard Dance Chart in one year.
The act also hold a Billboard Dance Chart record for most Number One productions reaching number one in one year – beating previous records held by Madonna and Whitney Houston.
