Adam Lambert's New Album Trespassing Secures Top 5 Debut In The UK Midweek Chart
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Outside Organisation) Adam Lambert dazzled a sold out Hammersmith Apollo crowd last night, performing the first of his three highly-anticipated shows with Queen.

The gigs come on the week Lambert releases his second album Trespassing, which debuted at number 3 in the official UK album chart midweek update. While scoring his first top 10 UK album, his new single 'Never Close Our Eyes' is also set for a top 20 debut.

The Daily Star declared that "Queen fans have somebody new to love" in Lambert, adding that he "proved he has the kind of vocal flamboyance and right Kind of Magic" to front the iconic group.

Adding that the superstar vocalist "dazzled", the Evening Standard said that "gold has been struck" in the pairing of Lambert and Queen.

As well as executively producing 'Trespassing', which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 album chart, Adam has collaborated with an all-star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters on the record; including Pharrell Williams, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly (who produced the new single), Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro and Bruno Mars.

Since making the UK his home for the summer, Adam has made various TV appearances, including a performance of 'Never Close Our Eyes' on The Graham Norton Show, which saw him become the only guest that week to trend worldwide on Twitter.

Queen + Adam Lambert perform at London's Hammersmith Apollo tonight, July 12th, and Saturday, July 14th.
