John Legend lead the Vibe Award nominations pack this year, with both stars nominated for the coveted Artist of the Year Award. Also scoring Vibe noms were Amerie, R. Kelly, Bow Wow,
Destiny's Child and Mario.
Ciara and John Legend have both taken the world by storm, with their respective debut albums earning them accolades and acclaim across the globe. Now, they go head to head at this year's Vibe Awards, with both stars nominated for the highly regarded Artist of the Year Award. Ciara and John face some challenging competition from Mariah Carey, Kanye West and 50 Cent.
Neo-soul man John Legend, a recent visitor to our shores, has also been nominated for R&B Voice of the Year, and Album of the Year for his stunning release 'Get Lifted'. Anyone who caught one of John's live shows while he was in town can testify to the fact that 'Get Lifted' is one seriously amazing album!
The third annual Vibe Awards will be held on Tuesday November 15, so cross your fingers for Ciara, John Legend, Amerie, R. Kelly, Bow Wow, Destiny's Child and Mario!
