NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Smash Hit Records) - Houston-Texas based Soul/R&B/Blues artist Sir Lawrence has cooked up a Texas southern soul banquet on his latest album, 'He's Back,' released nationwide on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. The twenty-song album is on the Power Pak Entertainment label (catalog number 706) and is distributed by Innovative Distribution Network 'IDN', a division of Alliance Entertainment (www.idndist.com). Marketing and promotion of 'He's Back' is being handled by Thompkins Marketing.

The young Lawrence D. Haynes began his musical journey with the stirring gospel music of his youth. Mix in the funk from Houston's Kashmere High School band under the direction of Conrad Johnson. Now add the influence of great artists such as Tyrone Davis, Earth Wind & Fire and Maze and stir in fifteen years of singing in front of Texas audiences. The result is a varied and tasty array of bluesy soul tunes. The sonic feast includes humor ('Cheating Is A Risky Business'), heartbreak ('It's Over'), dancing ('Party Don't Stop'), straight talk ('I'm An Old Dog') and the closing gospel tinged ('Keep Looking Up').

Sir Lawrence is enthusiastic about the album. He says that the songs 'go in all directions and provide listening pleasure for both young and old alike.' Sir Lawrence declares that his goal is to have 'He's Back' 'remembered for generations to come.'

To support the release of 'He's Back', Thompkins Marketing has instituted a national publicity campaign, including service to R&B, Urban, Triple A and Blues radio and press. Additionally, Sir Lawrence will be embarking on a southern tour beginning late July.
