Skepta's 'Make Peace Not War' Will Be Released On April 29, 2012
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Chilli PR) Skepta reigns supreme and commands us all to dance, with his new single 'Make Peace Not War', which incorporates the electrifying hook of "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C+C Music Factory featuring the vocals from legendary soul singer Martha Walsh of The Weather Girls. 'Make Peace Not War' is the follow up to Skepta's New Years Day release 'Hold On' taken from his forthcoming album 'The Honeymoon' due out summer 2012.

A high-energy infectious party jam, Skepta's fast flow and upbeat energy drives the track, while the thunderous vocals of Martha Walsh implore the listener join the party like an edict being passed from on high.

Skepta has grand plans for 2012 and shows no signs of slowing down from an extraordinary 2011 one of the UK's most popular grime artists. Highlights of last year's activities included the release his third studio album 'Doin' It Again', along with the DJ Whoo Kid hosted mixtape 'Community Payback', completing 2 nationwide headline UK tours, playing several European summer festivals including Glastonbury, being nominated for his 2nd BET Award for 'Best International Artist', and performing with P Diddy at his Wembley Arena show.

Otherwise known as Joseph Junior Adenuga, the Tottenham born and raised DJ producer and MC, Skepta has played a key role in the elevation of grime to the mainstream masses. With a string of club anthems (such as 'Duppy' and 'Too Many Men') alongside chart hits (such as 'Rescue Me', 'So Alive' and 'Hold On') to his name, in addition to a staggering YouTube presence, Skepta's ability to crossover and provide material for both the underground and more commercial audiences is clear. Still maintaining a key role in the collective Boy Better Know that includes his brother JME, Skepta has not just continued to produce mixtapes and albums on the scene but further helped to create tracks and provide lyrics for fellow peers such as Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz and most recently Chipmunk, when featuring on the track 'Decorations on my Body' taken from Chipmunk's recently released mixtape 'Spazzz.com'.
