NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Cielo Club PR) - Belgium's Spirit Catcher inject futuristic minimal grooves to Cielo's dancefloors on Friday the 1st as they herald in the month showcasing their new NRK 'Coast2Coast' album. An accomplished blend of tech-soul and future funk, producers Jean Vanesse and Thomas Sohet have carved a solid name for themselves in recent years with releases on labels such as Freerange, 2020 Vision, SAW and Mood Music, as well as a blistering live sets across the globe. Did you catch them back in November? Willie Graff joins them supplying what promises to be a cosmic night of the future sound of disco.

San Francisco's Behrouz is one of the most prominent artists in his field. A true music veteran, who's made quite a name for himself over the past 20years resulting in gigs at some of the best clubs on the planet: Womb in Tokyo, DC-10 in Ibiza, and on Thursday 7th Cielo, NYC as special guest of Dance.Here.Now. The Yoshitoshi favorite is a regular to grace our nights supplying a dramatic and emotion-filled voyage into the deep with his poignant mosaic sets of deep percussion and tech-etched progressiveness. This month's event will be a special birthday celebration for Behrouz, surely a stellar night.

Need the perfect Mother's Day gift idea? How about tickets to party with Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales and Wayne Williams on Sunday the 10th as Robbi Presents Two Nations welcome back the duo for a night of quality house music. Gonzalez, one half of the legendary Masters At Work production team, needs little by way of introduction. With partner and Roots resident, Louie Vega, their unique hip-house-jazz style has made them originators in a sound that has been often imitated yet rarely successfully duplicated. Together they've remixed a veritable who's who, while as producers in their own right, have crafted some of the most ground-breaking singles in dance music history ('The Nervous Track', 'It's Alright, I Feel It' and 'You Can Do It') and revitalized the careers of Roy Ayers, George Benson and Tito Puente to a new dance audience. The Dope one is partnered on the night with fellow New Yorker Wayne Williams. Nicknamed the Ambassador Of House, Williams also has another impressive title to his name: Senior VP of A&R at Jive Records where since the '90s he's co-produced groundbreaking singles for Mr Lee, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, R. Kelly and Justin Timberlake.

On Tuesday May 12th the award winning Dance.Here.Now party is back with rising star Alex Pearce. Alex's signature style of Tech House and Electro has made his monthly events one of the hottest parties in town. With a CD compilation set to come out on Nervous Records in the fall and a steady stream of original production and re mix work out on his label this year, Pearce is the next new talent to look out for on the global stage.

Since the late-'90s Robbie Rivera has since been inundated with offers to remix a host of international artists including Faithless, Felix Da Housecat, Kylie, Bob Sinclar, Santana, Moloko, Madonna, David Guetta, Pink and Basement Jaxx. While as a DJ his infectious high-octane sets have led to his diary at times resembling an airport departure board! In recent weeks he's rocked dancefloors in Barcelona, Japan, Poland, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, Moscow and of course his hometown of Miami. An unashamed workaholic the jetsetter touches down on Thursday 14th as guest of Made Event.

Josh Gabriel is Made Event's guest on Friday 15th.. The former Gabriel & Dresden star achieved an incredible 16 Billboard Dance Chart No 1s winning both the 2007 and '08 IDMA award for America's Best DJ in the process. Now, having parted company with his former studio partner, Josh is reaping the rewards of a new chapter, born-free and re-inspired to forge a brave new career path. As a DJ he creates a highly charged atmosphere of electronica blending rock guitars, electric bass and tech-etched beats that will have 'em swing from the rafters.

'Most people my age grew up with the Global Underground series, so to be asked to compile this album is an honor, especially as it's the start of a new concept.' The words of Nic Fanciulli, who celebrates the album's launch with us on Tuesday 19th. The Grammy nominated Englishman steps up to the plate on this new sonic adventure with a game plan all about putting the power in the hands of the DJ to take the listener on a complete introspective musical journey. Proving his worth time and again with numerous projects (such as the Buick Project and Skylark), he's also the resident at London's club du jour, Matter.

The Godfather returns on Thursday 21st as Dance.Here.Now. presents a magical night of house music by the man that started it all off, Mr Frankie Knuckles. Reams could be written about the pioneering Warehouse DJ who learnt his trade working with Larry Levan, before migrating south to experiment with drum machines under disco classics to a captivated club audience in Chicago. In studio, he was one half of the formidable Red Zone partnership with David Morales that gave us a string of remix classics for everyone from Pet Shop Boys and Michael Jackson to Inner City and Alison Limerick. While as a producer who doesn't have copies of his seminal classics 'Baby Wants To Ride', 'Your Love' and 'The Whistle Song' in their collection?

She's an internationally renowned DJ who has spun at some of the world's top clubs and worked alongside electronic music legends like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and John Digweed, earned accolades and awards, including Best Breakthrough Underground DJ at the UK Underground Music Awards. Her name is Misstress Barbara who is special guest of Made Event on Friday 22nd. Never one to rest on her laurels, she's about to embark on a whole new adventure with the release of 'I'm No Human', her first album as a songwriter. 'I've always been drawn to anything that's different... I like challenges,' she says. It's this spirit that drew her to the Air Cadets, where she learned to fly a Cessna at age 16!

A few months shy of his 60th birthday, Junior Vasquez, is 'at a point in my life where I'm comfortable in my career and happy to share the spotlight with the next generation of DJs who are inspired by me. They're the ones who will ultimately carry on my legacy,' says the New York club legend that returns to headline Dance.Here.Now. on Sunday 24th.'Generation Next', his first album in three years, embodies the energy and spirit that's made Junior a leader for over three decades. 'House music has changed a lot since my days spinning at Sound Factory and Twilo, and I pride myself on always having been able to stay one step ahead of the curve. I see what gets the crowds going at my monthly Freedom party at Cielo and on the dancefloors at the mega-clubs I've been playing around the world lately, and I wanted to harness that energy on the album.' Mission accomplished.

Dance.Here.Now.'s Benny Soto celebrates his birthday with a little help from special guest Danny Tenaglia on Thursday 28th. One of the most influential house DJs in the last few decades who stepped up to the major league in the '90s and has never looked back. Never shy to mix and match classics with the latest twisted and tribal house releases, the same applies to his studio output that has seen his re-tooling his unique stamp on hits for Madonna, Garbage, Jamiroquai, Faithless, New Order and Depeche Mode's 'I Feel Loved' which earned him a Grammy Award nomination in 2002. A night of something old and something new, as Danny does what he does best - making us dance with a smile on our faces. Happy birthday Benny!

San Francisco's house music vet Julius Papp brings his signature west coast grooves back to Cielo. Julius' sublime fusion of deep, soulful and techy house sounds have earned him an avid following around the world, entrancing the dancefloor with his expert selections and seamless mixing. His numerous productions on discerning labels like Nite Grooves, Salted and his own Neo Disco imprint have further cemented his status as an important player in the global scene. While Francois Kevorkian's Monday Deep Space lives up to its name with a truly enveloping journey of tripped out house, dubbed beats and FK's unique blend of electronica. If you miss it, don't worry, seven days later it all happens again... and then again. (May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th).
