LOS ANGELES (Midas Records) - Popstars Angel and Ashlee Simpson crossed paths on their respective tours and met for the first time during last weekend's Elle Girl/Alloy sponsored D Tour stop in Brea, California. Angel took command of the stage during her set and wowed! the cheering crowd of approximately 3500 fans at the Brea Mall's parking lot arena. Ashlee fans quickly became Angel fans and vice versa. Angel then signed autographs for over one hour before she and Ashlee met and chatted backstage. An executive of Midas Records even provided Ashlee with a copy of Angel's album Believe In Angels? Believe In Me for her tour bus. Angel took a quick detour from her own Midas Records Presents: The VH1 Save The Music Tour starring ANGEL, to perform at this Southern California D Tour stop. Now she's headed back out on the tour that has so far visited over 100 schools and 100,000 students. Angel has won rave reviews from VH1, the media, government agencies and educators for her tour that helps keep music programs in schools and for leading by example? talking to the kids about avoiding alcohol, drugs and tobacco to reach their goals.
