LOS ANGELES (Universal Records) - The new teen heartthrob on the scene is O'Ryan of the T.U.G camp. Following in the footsteps of older brothers, Omarion, (former lead singer of the platinum selling group B2K) and Marques Houston (TV's Sister Sister and movie You Got Served star), O'Ryan released his self-titled debut album on October 19th. As a staple in the pages of teen magazines, the handsome singer has created a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. O'Ryan recently graced the cover of the popular Right On!, Word Up!, Black Beat, and Faces magazines. The talented performer developed his devout following of female fans from his past appearances as an opening act of the sold-out Scream II tour featuring B2K/Lil Bow Wow and Marques Houston in major cities. O'Ryan's self-titled debut CD reflects the life of a teenage man from beginning to end with his intro - "Introducing," featuring fellow T.U.G label mate and mentor Young Rome to the final cut, "Smellz Like A Party." The smooth, yet slightly risqué R&B cut "Take It Slow" is the first single from the CD. The video which was directed by Chris Stokes is an audience favorite and is currently in heavy rotation on BET. O'Ryan, was discovered by Stokes, CEO of The Ultimate Group Records (the producer/manager responsible for the success of such artists as IMx, Marques Houston, Brandy, B2K and many others). Be on the look out as O'Ryan appears on Nickelodeon's U Pick Oct., 26, Soul Train Oct. 30 and Showtime at the Apollo Nov. 27. O'Ryan is currently doing a Sam Goody Musicland Football Rivalry Tour. He's hitting cities such as Dallas, TX; Charlotte, NC; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL. and more cities will soon follow.
