NEW YORK (www.buzzpublicity.com/ www.holly-thompson.com) - Singer, actress, model and fashion designer, Holly Thompson wears many hats. Now on the verge of completing her debut album, Holly is set to release her new dance/pop single, 'I Will Still Love You.' Holly grew up in Kentucky, where she nurtured her love of music and acting through performances in Regional Theatre and Summer Stock productions.
After graduating from Morehead State University with a B.A. degree in Theatre (and a minor in Fashion Design and Merchandising) Holly headed to Los Angeles, where she found an agent. 'I was out there, going to audition after audition,' she remembers. 'I was determined to make something happen.'

Holly had landed appearances in several music videos when she had a meeting that would soon change her life. After an audition in Hollywood, Holly was introduced to producer/songwriter Brian Kierulf of KNS Productions. Kierulf's impressive resume includes long standing relationships with Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, 3LW, Willa Ford and Carl Thomas among others. At Kierulf's urging.
Holly relocated to New York and the two began collaborating on songs that will comprise her upcoming album, as yet untitled, including the dance pop track, 'I Will Still Love You.' Featured on the 2004 Winter Music Conference Dance Compilation CD, 'I Will Still Love You' has also received air play on several dance-mix radio shows. Holly says, 'These songs are dance oriented, but they have solid pop sensibilities and great hooks.'
While Holly's voice has been compared to a blend of Celine Dion and Lara Fabian, her style is her own. Holly's influences include Madonna, Donna Summer, Debbie Harry and No Doubt.

In conjunction with the release of 'I Will Still Love You,' Holly is announcing the launch of her retro-style swimwear line on her own Lolita Wear® label, appropriately named The Old Hollywood Collection (samples can be viewed on Holly's eye-catching website, Holly-Thompson.com). 'I've always been influenced and mesmerized by classic Hollywood movie stars such as Rita Hayworth, Lana Turner and Marilyn Monroe,' says Holly. Intrigued by the fashions these stars wore, Holly was inspired to design a visually captivating line of swimsuits celebrating not only the glamorous Hollywood starlets of the late 40's to mid fifties, but also offering a stylish swimwear option that can be worn and enjoyed by women with a less than perfect figure.
'I love the styles of that era,' says Holly, 'but my designs also take into consideration the fact that women back then were natural beauties with curves. What I want to represent with my suits is that various body shapes can look great in a bikini.' Swimsuit tops and bottoms can also be mixed and matched between styles to create an individual look and a custom fit. 'These designs are for every woman,' says Holly. 'I want women to feel empowered and realize that you don't have to be a model to look amazing in these suits.'
Holly is also working on a 'modern design' swimwear collection, as well as planning a line of clothing and accessories for petite women.

Holly Thompson's Lolita Wear swimwear collection will be available for sale through www.holly-thompson.com and in exclusive boutiques in New York City's Soho District. Holly hopes to change a stereotype of the fashion industry by using 'petite' models - herself included - to model her swimsuits.
