NEW YORK (T.J. Martell Foundation/ www.tjmartellfoundation.org) - Rock 'n' rollers and wine aficionados join with the T.J. Martell Foundation at the charity's first "World Tour of Wine" fund-raising dinner and auction on Thursday, November 11, 2004, in New York City.

The sold-out event will take place at The Grand Havana Room (formerly Top of the Sixes), located in midtown Manhattan at 666 Fifth Avenue. A five-course dinner will be prepared by renowned chef Alberto Gomez and select bottles of unique and rare wines from around the world will be served.

The event kicks off with a wine and rock memorabilia silent auction with significant contributions from noted artists as Metallica, Dixie Chicks, Jimmy Buffett, Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Josh Groban, Rob Zombie, 311, Simple Plan, Maroon 5 and Hilary Duff. While many items will be auctioned at the dinner itself, most of the memorabilia will be auctioned off via eBay beginning November 22, 2004. The public may bid on these items by visiting the following web site:
https://www.fan2fan.com/ebayauction.

Some of the major donors and their provided items include:

- Full Metallica Jacket - A private one-on-one day with one of the members of Metallica. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the inner world of Metallica, including private tour of their recording studio and "HQ," dinner, and loads of Metallica goodies. Also included is round-trip airfare to San Francisco, transportation and two nights at a deluxe SF hotel.

- Jimmy Buffett - Gold Circle tickets to a Summer 2005 concert and autographed copy of his new book "A Salty Piece of Land" (not in stores until November 30)

- Josh Groban VIP Experience - VIP treatment to the upcoming Madison Square Garden concert Valentine's Day weekend. Included are four tickets, a backstage meet & greet with Josh and an autographed microphone, deluxe stay at the Trump International Hotel in New York City with round-trip Town Car service.

- Good Charlotte Red Fender Squier Guitar - Hand-signed by all five members (Benji, Joel, Billy, Paul and Chris).

- Two Tickets and Passes - To the red carpet premiere of the new Rob Zombie movie "The Devil's Rejects"

- Nick Hexum from 311's Private Key West Island - Four (4) night stay on Money Key Island in Key West, Florida. This island is owned and donated by 311's (Three-Eleven's) Nick Hexum. Money Key is a five-and-a-half acre natural island in the Florida Keys, accessible only by boat.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was founded by the music industry to raise money at first for disease research, specifically leukemia and cancer and then AIDS as well. Over the last 29 years the foundation has donated more than $175 million to medical research and finding a cure for these diseases.
