SYDNEY, Australia (SONY Music Australia) - Rock legends Noiseworks have announced they will donate all net proceeds from sales of their 'Greatest Hits' to World Vision Australia's Asian tsunami appeal. The band reformed especially to perform at Saturday night's 'Reach Out To Asia' concert.
Noiseworks in conjunction with SONY BMG, today announced that all net proceeds from the sale of their 'Greatest Hits' during 2005 will be donated to World Vision's Tsunami Disaster Relief Appeal to assist victims of the disaster and their families.

Lead singer Jon Stevens said "Sitting back and watching the television as this disaster unfolded, you feel so helpless, the fact that we were able to get together to perform at the event on Saturday night and now, with SONY BMG, are able to re-release the Greatest Hits, is another small way we can do our bit to help out."

The album features the hit 'Touch', which the band reunited especially to perform at the 'Australia Unites: Reach Out To Asia' concert at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday night. More than $20 million in corporate and public donations were raised for World Vision on the night, with over eight million Australians tuning in to show their support.
"It is such an honor for us that 'Touch' as a song can be used to assist this event and the Australian relief effort. I really hope that the chorus 'reach out and touch somebody' inspires people to do so," Stevens said.
Noiseworks' 'Greatest Hits' featuring the track 'Touch' is available in stores now.
