2004's red-hot Jackson tour drew sell-out crowds, while critically and commercially, the three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year consistently delivers the goods, on disc and on the road. Jackson's latest Platinum-certified release, What I Do, earned year-end, best of 2004 accolades from such outlets as the Chicago Tribune, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Village Voice, while a recent four-star Blender review raved, 'The whole collection … shows how much subtle pathos, humor, and passion a flat-brilliant country performer can harvest from non-strict traditionalism.'
What I Do repeated the success of Jackson's multi-Platinum Greatest Hits Volume II CD and previous studio album, Drive, by topping Billboard's pop and country album charts in its first week of release.
Following his hit, 'Too Much of a Good Thing,' Jackson's latest single, 'Monday Morning Church' is currently climbing towards the top spot on the Billboard (No 9) and Radio & Records (No 8) airplay charts. An undeniable country superstar, Jackson has recorded 14 albums, earned 31 No1 singles and amassed record sales of more than 43 million.
RCA Nashville beauty Sara Evans has brought a new energy to the country music landscape. Her Double-Platinum Born to Fly collection set the stage for her latest release, the Platinum-certified Restless, which introduced the hit 'Perfect' (co-written by Evans), as well as the multi-week chart-topper, 'Suds in the Bucket,' with the video for each single becoming a No 1 favorite at CMT.
Over the course of four albums, three No 1 singles - including 'Born to Fly' and 'No Place That Far' - six Top Ten hits, and nearly four million units sold, the recent CMA and ACM Female Vocalist nominee has continued to craft songs that have established her as one of the genre's most enjoyable stylists.
