PHOENIX, AZ. (Jack Squall Productions) - Storm Within, winner of various Battle of the Bands awards in the Valley and nominee for Best Metal Band in Arizona, has lined up a powerful season of touring with sets in three national metal festivals and select dates on Enforcer Records' Armageddon 2005 Tour. Metal Festivals will include the renowned Classic Metal Fest in Chicago, the Fatal Force Fest in Indiana, and the 19th Annual Milwaukee Metal Fest.

The band's festival appearance schedule through 2005 is:

Armageddon 2005 Tour, March 22nd, 2005 – Denver, CO. (Additional Dates & Locations TBA)

5th Annual Classic Metal Fest, May 14th, 2005, Lansing, IL (Chicago)

19th Annual Milwaukee Metal Fest, July 30th, 2005 - Milwaukee, WI.

Fatal Force Fest, June 19th, 2005 – Lafayette, IN.

'Our goal this year was to get on board with some of the major metal fests in the U.S. We worked hard to get there, and the momentum we've had over the past year with the contests we've won and the caliber of shows we've played has really made that possible. These are some of the most legendary festivals in the U.S. metal genre today, and we are definitely excited to have been chosen to play. Our next goal will be to tour the metal fest circuit overseas!' says front-woman Debra Darlene.

Storm Within got a further boost in the fall of 2004, making four of the five cuts in the Battle for Ozzfest Competition, and can be seen in cameos on the reality show currently airing on MTV. They are also fresh off the heels of their crowd-pleasing performance at the Arizona State Fair following Velvet Revolver's headlining set on Oct. 23rd, and a supporting slot for Drowning Pool at the Marquee Theatre on Nov. 21st.

The musical passion and fury of Storm Within lives up to the promise of its name. Their mix of classic metal with 2nd and 3rd generation metal influences combine with echoes of rock, blues, rap, goth and punk to create a sound and feel that is uniquely their own, resonating with fans of metal both young and old, on both sides of the Atlantic. This current lineup has been together since 1999, and is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Debra Darlene has a powerful and sexually charged presence. There is nothing understated about this band. They are over-the-top and in-your-face with a gripping, intense stage show, and a tight, heavy rhythm-oriented metal sound.

The Classic Metal Fest debuted in 2001 and was created to help fund the Metal Music Foundation, raising money to establish a Metal Museum and Hall of Fame, and working to preserve the metal music genre and strengthen the metal underground (www.metal-music-foundation.com).

The Milwaukee Metal Fest has rocked the Midwest for nearly 20 years. Prior years have drawn crowds as large as 15,000 people and pulled in headliners such as Korn, Megadeth and Slayer. Details on this year's festival will be announced in February.
