NEW YORK (BB King's Blues Club) - In an effort to contribute towards the tsunami relief efforts in Asia, Peter Schwartz, vice president of The Agency Group, has put together RAP FOR RELIEF, a benefit concert taking place at BB King's Blues Club in New York City on Tuesday, February 22, 2005.
The concert will feature appearances by some of the leading artists in hip-hop music including Rahzel, Doug E. Fresh, Buckshot, Pete Rock, J-Live, High & Mighty and C-Rayz Walz. DJ JS-1 will be the house DJ for the night, with other acts expected to join the line-up.
In making the announcement Schwartz proudly stated, Pulling together clients from the TAG roster was the best way we knew to make a real contribution. The artists were all more than willing to donate their time. According to Schwartz, BB King¹s buyer Toffer Christensen welcomed the idea with open arms. The club is donating the venue and their expenses towards the cause.

Rapper and beatbox champ Rahzel was the first to sign on noting, This is what hip-hop is all about giving back!
All proceeds from the February 22 concert will go to the Red Cross. Tickets are $20 in advance at the club and Ticketmaster. Extra donations will be accepted at the venue that evening.
