LOS
ANGELES (Midas Records) - Since releasing Believe In Angels Believe In
Me (Midas/ADA/WEA), her debut solo album late last year, ANGEL has
gotten-off to a blazing start in 2005. Her track "How Can I Lie" has
just been reported as reaching the No 2 spot on Billboard magazine's
Hot Dance
Music Club Play Top 50 chart. Only Seal, the Grammy-winning
entertainer could keep her from hitting #1.
Angel was thrilled upon
hearing the good news and said, "Seal? Wow! He is such great company to
be in. And having DJs spin my song so people can dance to it is a real
honor."
"How Can I Lie" had received the royal treatment with
two remixes; one by Ralphi
Rosario and again by Eddie Baez to keep the
song pumping on the dance floor and specialty radio from before the end
of 2004 up to present. A remix video version is also being blasted in
the clubs and on video channels.
"Lesson's In Love" is the next
song from Believe In Angels going to Top 40 radio and out to the club
culture. The Dance version will once again get remixes by Raphi Rosario
and then by Norty Cotto.
Angel has also been in the studio of late with
producers Tim
Kelly and Bob Robinson (Destiny's Child, Sisqo, Babyface,
Boyz II Men).
Angel is still on the road on her Midas Records
Presents: The VH1 Save The
Music Tour starring ANGEL that since kicking
off at NYC hotspot Crobar last March, has visited over 200 schools,
performing in front of 175,000 students. Angel's tour has received
acclaim by the media such as Teen Newsweek as well as from students,
educators and parents because
Angel talks to the kids about avoiding
drugs, alcohol and tobacco to help realize their dreams.
Angel is also
participating in concerts involving LEI
Jeans and
Radio Disney.
