NASHVILLE, TN. (33rd Street Records) - With critical acclaim already in Canada for their latest project Highway, The Wilkinsons are very much looking forward to their album's stateside release this spring. The family trio's fourth record is slated for release on March 29, 2005. With CBuJ Enterprises, Inc. and 33rd Street Records backing the project, the first single "L.A." has already been shipped to stations nationwide. The single also has an accompanying video that will be going video outlets immediately. "I am very excited about once again working with The Wilkinsons," CBuJ President/CEO John Burns said. "And we are very much looking forward to our partnership with 33rd Street Records." Their debut single "26 Cents," off their first album Nothing But Love, established The Wilkinsons in Country music as an act that had a strong idea of what they wanted on both their sound and the direction they wanted their music take. The release of Highway will only further this sentiment, not only allowing their longtime fans to enjoy yet another great project from the talented Canadian family, but will also prove The Wilkinsons? growth both as writers and performers. From writing seven songs on the first album to the 12 they have written for Highway, all three Wilkinsons, father Steve and siblings Amanda and Tyler, have shown that their creativity goes beyond singing. "We?re really trying to stretch the boundaries of our music", says Amanda. "Both in singing and writing, there is a need to keep things fresh and interesting."
