NEW YORK (Chingy Fans Website) - Not only will he make an appearance, but US rap superstar Chingy will also be performing at the first ever MTV Australian Video Music Awards. The awards will take place on 3 March at Luna Park in Sydney.

Fellow rappers Ja Rule and Xzbit join a bill which includes Switchfoot, Green Day, Simple Plan and Kelly Osborne. Local performers will be Missy Higgins, the Dissociatives, Thirsty Merc, Grinspoon and Eskimo Joe.

This is Chingy's first visit to Australia which also includes the Roc Tha Block tour alongisde Ja Rule, Fabolous, 112 and Mario Winans.
