 NEW
YORK (Konkrete Productions) - 'Graveyard Shift' is one of the potential
singles taken from the recently finished debut album by former 'Endz'
frontman, 'Bunzi D'. After the massive underground success of, 'Are You
Really From The Endz?' Bunzi has been busy racking up studio hours
getting his album, 'Mama's Kitchen' ready for circulation. The album
features top UK producer's, 'Rawheed' and 'Konkrete Productions'. With
an eclectic mix of underground 'grime' fused with hip hop, rock and
sometimes 'abstract' sounds it is sure to give any music critic a run
for their money. One of the more 'mainstream crossover' tracks
has to be 'Graveyard Shift', a piano and bassline driven song that
features guest vocals from two of the most established UK MC's on the
circuit. 'Hyper' from East London's N.A.S.T.Y Crew drops a silky smooth
16 on the second verse in contrast to Street Politik's, 'Charms' who
delivers his trademark 'S.P' style on the third. Coupled with the
sultry vocals of Melanie from Funk Angelic on the chorus hook we are
left with a huge mainstream anthem. U.S. rapper, 'Stock' who recently
had his song, 'Bounce' featured in the Wayan's Bros film, 'White
Chicks' features on another mix by turning the track into a full
U.S/U.K collaboration. Promotional copies of the song will be
distributed to selected DJ's in the next few weeks, so listen out for
the evolving sound of UK hip hop, and maybe then we can stop working
that all too familiar, 'Graveyard Shift'!
