BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - This week, EMI CMG added 310 catalog albums to its list of projects now available for digital download through major
Digital Music Service Providers. All previously unavailable in digital format, the titles come from Christian music pioneers, 1980s and '90s hit makers, and current best-selling artists alike.
'The depth and breadth of this mass catalog release makes it the perfect time for music fans to begin moving their all-time favorite albums to the digital format,' said Mark Adkison, VP
Interactive Development for EMI CMG Label Group.
Indeed, the selections now available are remarkably diverse. The earliest titles include classics from 2nd Chapter of Acts, Petra, Whiteheart, Michael Card, Keith Green, DeGarmo & Key, and Don Francisco.
From the 1980s and '90s, Out of the Grey, Margaret Becker, Susan Ashton, Charlie Peacock, Geoff Moore, Lisa Bevill, and Twila Paris lead the list of top pop and adult contemporary releases. Also included are harder-to-find alternative titles from artists such as Chasing Furies, PFR, Sarah Masen, The Waiting, The Normals, Seven Day Jesus, and Considering Lily.
There are also newly available catalog titles from current best-selling acts like Steven Curtis Chapman, Rebecca St. James, Jump5, newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, and Chris Tomlin.
