The Wallflowers Will Perform Live Concerts Hosted by W Hotels in New York and San Francisco

NEW YORK (Interscope Records) - W Hotels is at it again - making beautiful music with another great musical talent. As part of a new partnership with The Wallflowers, W Hotels Worldwide will host a pair of live, intimate performances by the band, celebrating the launch of their first album in three years, Rebel, Sweetheart, at W's in New York and San Francisco.
These private performances, at W New York on May 25th and W San Francisco on June 8th, are part of W's expanded signature event series, W Happenings, which feature book discussions, wine tastings, movie screenings, fashion previews, live music and other cultural happenings.

The Wallflowers' New York performance will be two-fold - not only launching their newest album but also launching W Hotels of New York's popular warm-weather offering, Summer Share. The band will headline the party, which will offer guests an opportunity to sample parts of New York's hottest summer getaway - SHOP, SIP, and SPA. The Wallflowers' Retrospective CD, a compilation of old favorites and new tracks, is a takeaway element of the SIP component of W's Summer Share package.

The band's New York performance will also be recorded as part of W's signature "W LIVE on SIRIUS RADIO" series that will premiere on June 22nd at 8pm on The Spectrum, Channel 18. W's partnership with SIRIUS also includes the popular SIRIUS Suites, currently available at W Times Square and W Los Angeles.

In addition to these live performances, the Wallflowers' new album will be sold in W Hotels The Store - W's retail outposts in New York, Chicago, and San Diego - and online at whotelsthestore.com. The CD will also be made directly available to guests through W's concierge service during the San Francisco performance.

W's love affair with music began last year in a partnership with Apple, when W began offering guests the option to checkout an iPod through the concierge service as well as offering guests iPod cradles in all W properties. iTunes has also offered a W-inspired play list on their website in the past and recorded previous live music performances at W.
