NASHVILLE, TN. (www.cherylpeach.com) - Singer Cheryl Peach has begun recording her latest CD American Heartland in Nashville with producer Mark Dreyer. Cheryl, who grew up in the foothills of the Pennsylvania Appalachians and went on to become an Army Sergeant First Class with Sharpshooter status, has been a singer with a cause all of her life. In the wake of the Vietnam conflict she became a lead singer for the Army's top touring band, the US Army Field Band. As a 'Goodwill Ambassador' her mission was to help rekindle patriotism among the American people. Cheryl still holds onto the notion that Americans can come together through music. American Heartland will be Cheryl's third CD with independent label Tuscarora Multimedia. Benjamin Pietsch, President of Tuscarora Multimedia, comments: 'Mark Dreyer is one of the top producers in Nashville. We needed Mark to deliver the full-range of styles for American Heartland from traditional country ballads to that no-holds-barred country rock sound'. These recording sessions took place at Studio 23 Lakeside Recording with some of Nashville's top session musicians. The master craftsmanship of these tracks does Nashville proud. Mark Dreyer adds: 'Of course, Cheryl Peach is a consummate professional. Yet, it's Cheryl's charisma that got everyone in my studio grooving together.' 'Singing with excellent musicians is always so rewarding. And, I'd like to thank Nashville for such warm hospitality', says Cheryl.
