The World Premiere of Angel Wars 2

BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Prior to its nationwide release to stores on August 30, a world premiere showing of ANGEL WARS: GUARDIAN FORCE 2 will be held Saturday, August 27, at the Wichita Theatre in Wichita Falls, Texas. Chris Waters, creator of the tween-friendly animated adventure DVD series, will attend the special event.

The debut screening will be a double feature, pairing the first and second ANGEL WARS releases back-to-back. After the show, guests will be able to purchase both DVDs and receive a free life-size ANGEL WARS poster for a total of $15.00. Individual releases will also be available for $9.99 each.

ANGEL WARS tells the story of a passionate band of angels whose mission is to battle fallen spirits. The project came together following the events of September 11, 2001, when Waters heard the story of a boy who, in the aftermath of the tragedy, asked his mother with all sincerity, 'Where was Superman?'

'There is a whole generation of kids who don't know that salvation is available to them,' says Waters. 'Now more than ever, they need to know that there is something concrete they can turn to, and that they can participate in the real battle – the spiritual battle we face every day, without having to walk in fear.'

ANGEL WARS: GUARDIAN FORCE 2 moves ahead from the highly acclaimed, fast-selling episode one, with twice the number of animators and stellar sound design from Hacienda Post (Powerpuff Girls, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie). For the musical score, Waters welcomed top producer Christopher Stevens whose credits include work on award-winning games for Sony, Sega, and Microsoft as well as recent projects from recording artists tobyMac, Shawn McDonald, and Audio Adrenaline.

'It's a huge step for us,' says Waters. 'Episode two is much closer to the vision of the whole series. With a bigger team, we've told a bigger story, with more characters and more involved action sequences. I can't wait for people to see it. To have people of this caliber working on our product is amazing.'
