(EMI MUSIC AUSTRALIA)- In the year that would have been John Lennon's 65th birthday, we are proud to release the best of his work on the double CD "Working Class Hero - The Definitive Lennon". This release is the pivot for a large number of events which will happen around John's birthday on October 9. These include a major documentary to be screened on the Nine Network on the same day of the album release and the reissue of two further albums in the John Lennon catalogue - "Walls and Bridges" and "Some Time In New York City".

"Working Class Hero - The Definitive Lennon" features 38 tracks spread over 2 CDs and has a combined playing time of over 150 minutes. It features all of John's hit singles and key album tracks, all mastered from the most up-to-date sources. It was compiled by the label and by Yoko Ono Lennon.
