LOS ANGELES, CA. (Groovpix Entertainment, LLC) - Groovpix Entertainment, LLC and Monster Music team up in a blockbuster partnership to launch a state-of-the-art music experience with the announcement of the specialty DVD, Away From the Sun, from multi-platinum selling rock band, 3 Doors Down. Monster Music launched earlier this year as an entertainment division of the premium cable and audio accessory company, Monster Cable.

Groovpix produced the live event in a creative alliance with Grammy and Emmy Award-winning director, Alex Gibney. On November 8, 2005, Monster Music will use its distribution power to ensure that hundreds of thousands of these limited edition DVDs will be on the shelves of retailers like Best Buy and Radio Shack.

The first of its kind, Away From the Sun promises 3 Doors Down fans an unparalleled "Monster" experience. Recorded with 16 cameras in hi-definition and mastered in 5.1 surround sound, this unique DVD concert gives the audience the ultimate experience of rocking onstage with the band.

"What differentiates Monster Music's products from other DVD's out there are the incredible added features," explained Noel Lee, Head Monster of Monster Cable and Monster Music. "All the music is encoded in Dolby Digital, (including Dolby headphones) and we provide two very different 5:1 mixes. We've also provided a very special treat for fans. On this disc, we have encoded the digital music right from the masters, so you get a higher quality music experience than you could if you ripped it from a regular CD. All the songs are ready to download right onto your I-POD or MP3 player." Additional short pieces on how to set up your Home Theater and "Behind the Scenes" with Monster and 3 Doors Down make this an incredible value for the fan of great rock music.

Monster Music chose to join forces with Groovpix, a premiere music DVD company whose founders are experienced industry veterans with extensive relationships in the music and home video industries. Groovpix is currently in production with a Neal McCoy concert DVD and a Kenny Rogers concert and documentary, along with other upcoming projects from the world of hip-hop.

Groovpix's principals have produced and successfully marketed world-renowned television, theatrical, DVD, and CD ROM productions. In addition, their strong relationships with artists and managers and background in national radio programming allows the company open access to a variety of music acts and the radio industry.

Groovpix Entertainment has joined together with the world's top entertainment companies to develop and distribute specialized DVDs with exceptional quality and originality for music lovers. Fans who want unparalleled up-close and personal visual action from their favorite artists can now look forward to an innovative viewing experience that brings the concert and the "behind-the-scenes" footage into the comfort of their own home. By demonstrating its ability to finance the production and commercialization of music DVDs, Groovpix continues to gain access to artists with broad audience appeal.

"We pride ourselves on our winning mix of expertise in content acquisition, production, and marketing," said Scott Mahalick, founder and co-head of Groovpix. "Our marketing and production efforts will leverage our backgrounds in the film side of the DVD business and our strong ties to the radio industry, which is vital to the success of a music-oriented product like ours. The partnership with Monster Music is a perfect example of how we work to exploit these assets."
"Away From the Sun" is available where ever video, music, and audio products are sold November 8, 2005
