HOLLYWOOD, CA. (Mark Feist) - As the holiday shopping season quickly approaches, Transworld Entertainment through its retail stores places a huge order for the charity single "Come Together Now," to ensure its customer's demands are met. The song became a hit at iTunes, as more than 2,500 people downloaded it, within its first week of release. Actress Sharon Stone co-wrote the song along with Grammy-nominated songwriter and philanthropist Denise Rich and multi-platinum producers/songwriters Mark Feist and Damon Sharpe.

The song, which is being distributed by the New York independent label "785 Records," will be packaged and released as an enhanced CD that features the song and video on Tuesday, November 29th. 100% of proceeds from the CD will benefit victims of the recent Hurricane Katrina disaster that devastated our Nation. Proceeds will be split between two charities; Habitat for Humanity and Angels Place.

"Transworld entertainment's retail brands For Your Entertainment (FYE), Wherehouse Music, Coconuts Music & Movies, Spec's Music and Strawberries Music & Video are proud to be leading the way to support all of the artists participation on the charity song "Come Together Now," said Vinnie Birbiglia, Director of Event Marketing at Transworld Entertainment. The enhanced CD's have been allotted counter space in select stores to encourage holiday purchases.

Several artists who participated in the collaboration will make in-store appearances on November 29th at various Transworld Entertainment retail stores in support of the release including: JoJo, Ruben Studdard, Chingy, Angie Stone, Nick Carter, AJ McLean and Mya. Additional appearances will be announced in the coming weeks. For additional information and in-store appearance details, check out https://www.cometogethernowonline.com

A number of today's most successful international recording artists donated their vocals for the charity single by recording their individual parts of the song.
