LOS ANGELES (Jared Sagal Official Website) - Pop artist Jared Sagal, who combines the driving sounds of alternative rock with the storytelling of classic country and folk, has announced his debut EP is available March 1, 2006.
the irresistible jangle and hook of the opener 'Over Me' to the pulsing emotional build of 'Holding Pattern,' Jared Sagal showcases a highly-evolved performer and songwriter who can deliver sensitive guitar lines or anthemic rock choruses with equal power and appeal. The EP was recorded with the same lineup of musician's that backed Alannis Morisette on 'Jagged Little Pill,' and was mixed and engineered by Grammy Award-winner Tom Weir. Steve Plunkett, formerly of the supergroup Autograph, produced the album.

Raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jared Sagal played professional soccer in Sweden and Germany, where he spent his downtime singing and playing guitar in underground stations and town squares. He moved to Dallas in 1997, where he quickly became a top local act and earned opening spots for national touring bands like Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Toadies, The Nixons and the Rollins Band. In 2002 he was nominated for "Best Band" by the Dallas Observer Music Awards.
In February 2004 Jared was featured on the Fender Records/Rhino Records/Ocean Pacific "Emerging Stars" CD —a worldwide sampling of up-and-coming artists. Jared currently lives in Los Angeles, where he performs at notable venues like the Whisky-a-Go-Go, The Roxy and The Cat Club. Recently, Jared was contacted by Mark Burnett Productions to audition for season two of ABC's talent search Rockstar.
This could be your last chance to say you were into Jared Sagal before anybody!
