CHATSWORTH, CA. (HONIG COMPANY, INC.) - Image Entertainment, Inc., a leading independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, today announced its initial slate of HD-DVD titles. The titles, to be released on November 14 in North America and November 15 in Japan, will be high definition editions of three of the Company's bestselling music programs: Chicago/Earth, Wind & Fire: Live at the Greek, Heart: Alive in Seattle and Barry Manilow: Manilow Live! The discs will be authored, compressed and replicated by Memory Tech in Japan. Image will handle North America distribution of the titles while Digital Site, Image's Japanese licensee, will handle distribution throughout Japan.

The teaming of legendary groups Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire was the tour hit of summer 2004. Playing to sold-out venues, this spectacular show brought the Grammy-winning artists together in a show that both individually and together highlighted their revolutionary melding of rock, soul and jazz as well as their numerous No 1 and Top 10 hits. Now you can have a front-row seat for this amazing concert, performed at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Every moment, all the energy and excitement of this final show of the tour, was captured in high-definition for this extraordinary disc. Songs include Magic Mind, Boogie Wonderland, That's the Way of the World, After the Love Has Gone, Reasons, Let's Groove, Make Me Smile, If You Leave Me Now, Hard Habit to Break, Old Days, Saturday in the Park, and Feelin' Stronger Every Day.

Heart, comprised of music's most famous sisters, Ann and Nancy Wilson, have been successfully writing and performing chart-toppers since their 1975 debut album. From acoustic to folk to hard-driving rock 'n' roll, the ladies instill emotional energy into every song. This special hometown concert showcases a rich musical legacy that's distinctively Heart! Includes Barracuda, Sister Wild Rose, Mistral Wind, Wild Child, Dog and Butterfly, Magic Man, Crazy on You, Dreamboat Annie, Love Alive, These Dreams, Alone, Two Faces of Eve, Break the Rock, Heaven, Straight On, Black Dog, The Witch, Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters, and Battle of Evermore.

Barry's Manilow's sold-out performance, filmed in Nashville, provides insights into this exceptional performer's career. Backed by a 30-piece orchestra, this program captures Manilow's phenomenal live performance energy. Among all of the expected No 1 hits and then some, Barry showcases a number of songs from his musical, "Harmony," and his Grammy Award-nominated album "Manilow Sings Sinatra." Featuring Could It Be Magic?, Somewhere in the Night, Tryin' to Get the Feeling, Can't Smile Without You, Bandstand Boogie, Mandy, Even Now, Daybreak, All the Time, New York City Rhythm, This One's for You, That's Life, When October Goes, Weekend in New England, Copacabana, I Made It Through the Rain, One Voice/I Write the Songs, and Stars in the Night.

John Powers, Vice President of Catalog for Image Entertainment, stated, "Entering the high definition disc market is very exciting for Image Entertainment. We have been preserving shows in high definition since 1999 in anticipation of this exciting new format. Now these acclaimed concerts can be experienced with the enhanced resolution and unparalleled audio with which they were originally recorded.

"We anticipate the announcement of additional high definition discs as we come into the holiday selling season," continued Powers. "Consumers will be further exposed to this cutting edge technology through planned software marketing campaigns and additional hardware launches anticipated for the fourth quarter."
