Absolutely. But that's not stopping Performing Songwriter from divining the 99 greatest songs of all time! The magazine has launched an online Readers' Poll at performingsongwriter.com, with results to be published in its 99th issue in January.

"It's more than a bit outrageous to name the 99 greatest songs ever," says Performing Songwriter Editor & Publisher Lydia Hutchinson, "but we're just the magazine to do it. Our readers -- both those who make music and who follow it passionately -- have a keen appreciation of what it takes to create a truly great song. We also want to hear the reasons behind the songs they love, and will include their comments in our feature story."
