NEW YORK (Urban Music News) - Miami-bred platinum rapper Trick Daddy proposes adding yet another day of celebration to the calendar--on August 6, he releases his album, Thug Holiday. The album's first single "In Da Wind" includes guest appearances from OutKast member Big Boi, and Goodie Mob frontman and solo artist Cee-Lo. The Slip N Slide/Atlantic Records song is No5 on US's R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. An earlier version of the song, "Dro In Da Wind," only featured Cee-Lo and entered the Bubbling Under chart on May 25 at Number 23. The album's title track features an appearance from LaTasha Scott, and Cash Money Millionaire Baby raps on the song "Gangsta." Trick's 2001 album, Thugs Are Us, included the singles "Take It To Da House" and "I'm A Thug." The album prompted a Maryland mother to sue Trick Daddy, AOL Time Warner, and Atlantic Records last summer. The woman claimed that a clean version of the album featured explicit lyrics on the record's bonus snippet tracks.
