Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia)-After a quiet 2006 it's all happening again for
Missy Higgins in the leadup to the release of her new CD "On A Clear Night". The highly anticipated album will be previewed from this Sunday April 22 on her MySpace page (www.myspace.com/missyhiggins) and will be instores from Saturday April 28.
On the live front, tickets have been going gangbusters for Missy's tour next month with her brand new band. Third and final shows have just been announced in Sydney and Brisbane with second and final shows already announced in Melbourne, Newcastle and Wollongong. Please note that no further shows will be added so the list below now contains all the dates for this tour:
If you can't make it to any of these gigs Missy will come to your loungeroom with two big TV appearances over coming weeks. She will perform live on Channel 10's all new "Rove" show on Sunday April 29th and will then do a longer set on Channel 7's "Sunrise", live from Martin Place on Friday May 4th.
Missy's brand new "Steer EP" is out now and will debut on the ARIA charts next Monday morning. In addition to "Steer" - which is already top 5 on the national airplay charts - this EP also features 3 new original songs that actually won't be included on her new album ("Leave A Note", "The Battle" and "Dusty Road").
