NEW YORK (P. Diddy Fans Website) - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs will endorse Democratic nominee and current New York state comptroller Carl McCall for governor of New York. Combs will join Russell Simmons and former gubernatorial hopeful Andrew Cuomo in endorsing McCall's bid to become the state's first black governor.
McCall already has the distinction of being the only black candidate ever elected to a statewide office in New York.

Combs told Newsweek, "I do vote, I do have kids, and I do have a duty as a citizen to be politically conscious."

In related news, Combs is still in negotiations to land a new distributor after parting ways with Arista Records. Combs is also hard at work on a new Bad Boy Entertainment compilation that will feature new music from Mario Winans, Loon, and several other new acts.
