Disturbed proves that nu-metal still has a leg to stand on as its second album, Believe, debuts at No. 1 on The US Albums with 283,624 in first-week sales.
Three other acts score top 10 debuts on the chart as well: Ludacris Presents Disturbing tha Peace's Golden Grain takes the No. 6 spot, Lifehouse's Stanley Climbfall comes in at No. 7, and saxman Kenny G's Paradise squeaks in at No. 9.
Disturbed knocks the Dixie Chicks off the top spot, where they've been for three weeks, down to No. 2. Avril Lavigne dips one to No. 3, Nelly hangs on tight to No. 4, Eminem loses two to No. 5, Norah Jones moves down to No. 8, and Toby Keith drops five spots to No. 10.
