New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Roadrunner Records) - Guitar geeks, video game addicts, metalheads and various combinations of the three have spoken! And word is they love the international phenomenon known as DragonForce.

The 'Force are quickly becoming a household name across message boards, blogs and schoolyards all over the country, thanks to fun 'n furious guitar wizardry that is omnipresent on their latest Roadrunner effort, Inhuman Rampage, and the flurry of activity that is currently surrounding the band! DragonForce Mania is burning at a fever pitch and the fire refuses to be extinguished.

Inhuman Rampage was released in June 2006, and debuted at the plum No 1 spot on The Billboard Heatseekers Chart. The album is experiencing a rocket-like surge in sales, due to the lead single, "Through The Fire And Flames," being the breakout track on the massively popular Guitar Hero III video game. Since the game's October 2007 release, the digital single of "Through The Fire And Flames" has sold a jawdropping 145,000 tracks, the most of any artist feature on the game, including heavyweights Metallica, Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones and AFI. Inhuman Rampage continues to fly off the shelves, with sales exceeding 200,000 units and counting. The track debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No 86 this week, as well.

Fans have eaten up the video for the song, which features guitar virtuosos Herman Li and Sam Totman effortlessly trading licks while Totman tosses back a beer. The video has enjoyed over 2 million YouTube impressions, and was voted as "Best Video" in the 2007 Revolver Reader's Poll.

DragonForce, who currently grace the cover of the 2008 music preview issue of Revolver, have made an indelible mark on US audiences in the past two years. The band spent much of 2006 and 2007 playing to rabid, sold-out crowds in the US. In 2006, they opened the Ozzfest 2006 main stage, enjoyed two completely sold-out headline runs and supported hard rock titans Killswitch Engage.

Radio is catching DragonForce heat, as well. Inhuman Rampage exploded at Metal Radio, camping out in the No 1 slot on the trade charts for weeks on end, and now commercial radio is taking notice too, with KXTE/Las Vegas, KOMP/Las Vegas, KHTQ/Spokeane, WKLQ/Grand Rapids and Q101/Chicago spinning the single. The song has quickly become the No 1 most requested song at Q101.

If you've not witnessed nor felt the power of DragonForce, don't worry. You will. This is one band that won't be stopped, and the DragonForce fire will rage on!
