Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Humanity Unites Brilliance) - On Sunday, May 4th, 2008, Humanity Unites Brilliance (HUB - www.hubhub.org) awarded Singer/Songwriter Faith Rivera with their first annual 'Biggest Giver' award at the closing of their Awakening Your Brilliance Conference in Los Angeles, California. Rivera wasn't the only big winner that weekend, as she and her team had helped to raise over $15,000 in funds and resources (including a home to rent, job offers, computers, furniture and clothing) for a very deserving underprivileged family - all in under 48-hours and using nothing but their personal and professional contacts.

HUB is a force for good community that connects people and organizations so that together we magnify our positive impact on the planet. It is a for-profit company that uses personal development training and education as an economic engine to generate on-going humanitarian impact. HUB's mission is to transition the world from a state of basic survival to one of self-empowerment and sustained abundance. Rivera first heard about HUB through Scott Johnson with the Positive Music Association (PMA). Only days after joining as a charter ambassador, Rivera attended HUB's Awakening Your Brilliance Conference on May 2nd, 2008 where her team was given the "HUB Gives Big" assignment to help the Brown Family, with no advanced warning, no starting funds, and no instruction. Through the generosity of Rivera's personal and professional email list of fans and friends, her team was able to raise thousands in funds and resources, with even more on the way. Rivera was moved to her core by the profound impact that the weekend had on this deserving underprivileged family, and in her acceptance speech, she tearfully admitted that if she could no longer sing, she would give up her music to support HUB's work.

'I write songs to inspire & empower, to support others in living the fullest life possible all while making the world a better place!' says Rivera. Now available on iTunes and www.FaithRIvera.com, her latest album of original music, Maluhia brings groovy, organic folk-rock, hip-shakin' rhythms, eclectic pop/R&B/world arrangements, contagious songs, and a positive message together to empower the Peacemaker in YOU! An Emmy award winner for Outstanding Original Song featured on NBC's "Passions,' her original music can be heard on TV & film, and her voice has been featured with such artists as Luther Vandross, Sheila E., Neil Young (Grammy-nominated "Living with War" album), and on World Peace One's theme song "Give Your Love" with singers Al Jarreau, Brian Mcknight, Patrick Swayze & others stars calling for an end to all war. She is the featured vocalist on the soundtrack for the hit Judd Apatow film Forgetting Sarah Marshall with "These Boots are Made for Walking" sung in Hawaiian with the band Coconutz.
