New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - The Morrison Hotel Gallery, the world's leading purveyor of fine art music photography, and Sony BMG's ICON Collectibles are giving fans the chance to own an incredible piece of music history. The two companies have announced an exclusive joint relationship to exhibit and sell images from Sony BMG's vast music photography archive of over 1.2 million images.

Opening July 16 at the Morrison Hotel's Soho gallery (124 Prince Street, NYC), the first exhibit drawn from the archive will feature candid, in-the-studio photographs taken mostly by Columbia Records' in-house photographer Don Hunstein, at its legendary 30th Street Studio in New York City. The exhibit will feature fine art prints - many of them never-before-seen - of singular artists such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Billie Holiday, Muhammad Ali, and Miles Davis among others.

These photographs will also be available for sale at morrisonhotelgallery.com.

Dating back to the 1930s, the Sony BMG archive contains images of the giants of 20th century music across every genre. Additionally, there are photographs of personalities who appeared on Broadway cast recordings or CBS television shows (Groucho Marx, Lucille Ball, Jackie Gleason, Ed Sullivan), authors who contributed spoken word recordings (Truman Capote, John Steinbeck), sports figures (Willie Mays, Casey Stengel), broadcasters (Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Ed Sullivan) and countless others.
