LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Enterprises) - KISS. Four musicians. Four characters. Four icons ("IKONS" in KISS speak) - the Demon, the Star Child, Space Ace, and the Cat Man. Today, the KISS juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down as the KISS Army marches on with a new generation.
Now fans can celebrate 35 years of "The Hottest Band in the World" with IKONS (Mercury/UMe), released October 21, 2008, a four-CD box set with each disc specifically dedicated to showcasing the lead vocal performances of one of the original KISS members - with half of the 56 selections appearing on a compilation for the first time. Issued on the same date will be Paul Stanley's first live solo DVD, ONE LIVE KISS (New Door Records/UMe), filmed during his first ever solo tour while supporting his widely acclaimed solo album LIVE TO WIN.

IKONS, conceived by a fan for the fans, spotlights each "ikonic" founding member - Gene Simmons (the Demon), Paul Stanley (the Star Child), Ace Frehley (Space Ace), and Peter Criss (the Cat Man) - on separate discs within the box set. No other band has been able to showcase members individually like this. Not only do these artists play their instruments with fierce intensity, but they each can stand in front of a microphone and sing. With IKONS, their four separate characters allow listeners a choice of favorites and a choice of attitude.

IKONS brings together almost four hours of rockin' KISS music with 14 songs per disc. Included are the original recordings of the band's biggest hits and fan favorites spanning their career from "Strutter," "Deuce" and "C'mon And Love Me" to "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Beth," "Detroit Rock City" and "I Was Made For Lovin' You." Of the 56 songs included, 28 make their debut on a KISS collection. Among them are "Love 'Em & Leave 'Em," "All American Man," "2000 Man" and "Hooligan." The deluxe packaging features a 24-page booklet with liner notes by longtime KISS fans Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs.

Paul Stanley's concert DVD, ONE LIVE KISS, was shot at Chicago's House of Blues on the 2006 tour for LIVE TO WIN. Mixed in 5.1 surround and stereo, highlights include not only KISS favorites such as "Lick It Up," "Love Gun" and "Detroit Rock City" but also songs from his hit solo album. Backed by the amazing house band from the CBS shows "Rock Star: INXS" and "Rock Star: Supernova," Stanley ignites the stage as he performs his first new songs in more than eight years, including "Live To Win" (Top 10 Classic Rock on the Mediabase Chart), "Bulletproof" and "Lift." "Live To Win" was also pivotally featured in the Emmy-winning "South Park" episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft." The Star Child draws up every ounce of adrenaline and showmanship, leaving nothing behind but a crowd exploding into cheers at near rioting levels.
