In past years, the Levi's/FADER space in Austin has gained a strong reputation as the showcase for the best in music today and the ultimate hassle-free retreat for festival goers whether its morning, noon or late night. Designed as a haven for musicians looking to relax, the VIP areas are always packed with top acts and artists looking to unwind. New this year, Thefader.com will feature a live stream of all performances taking place at the Levi's/FADER Fort from Wednesday to Saturday. The live streams will be provided by KYTE, a universal digital media platform.
This year, Levi's/FADER Fort sponsors are providing an exciting arena for partygoers and industry professionals alike. Dell has signed on to sponsor the Bloggers Lounge at The Fort, a comfortable atmosphere offering free Internet for invited attendees; Skullcandy will display creative brand integration, hanging its branded headphones from a tree in an artistic installation created for attendees to take a listen to music curated by The FADER editorial staff; Shockhound, a one-stop, genre-spanning music site, will feature a MUSIC themed t-shirt installation of various products and bands available on their music destination platform; and Xbox will present the Xbox 360 Green Lounge featuring gamers in action with Rock Band 2, Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5. Additional sponsors this year include Southern Comfort, Anheuser-Busch, Ray Ban, Pepsi, and Guitar Center. Visitors will be able to visit "ROOM 501" of the ACE HOTEL, a preview to a co-branding relationship to be announced in the near future. As always, at 5:01 each day, the LEVI'S/FADER FORT will host the Levi's 501 Happy Hour and give attendees a chance to win various prizes from sponsors.
